Location | Stoke on Trent

Value | £2.4M

The existing store was initially completely stripped of the existing Asbestos (approx. value Circa £750K) which was located throughout the entire building and the building made safe prior to strip out and demolition works commencing. Large structural openings were formed in the existing concrete floor slabs for the installation of a new customer steel staircase and new customer passenger lift, using a combination of diamond drilling and saw cutting, crash decks and rubble removal. A new lift pit and lift shaft were formed within the new proposed entrance foyer. The shop front was stripped out from behind our secure hoarding and a new shop front designed and installed to suit the proposed fit out works, this included structural steel members to support the new entrance foyer.

The main roof was overlaid with a new Bauder felt roofing system, providing the client with an insurance backed guarantee for the integrity of the roof finishes.

With security being a top priority, new high security doors, frames and roller shutters were installed to all perimeter openings.
